CRAFTED WITH PURPOSE
StepZone started in 2018 when founder Thabo Ndlovu couldn't find shoes that combined true craftsmanship with African streetwear culture. Working from a small workshop in Braamfontein, he hand-crafted the first 50 pairs himself.
Within six months, those 50 pairs became 500. Word spread. The streets noticed. What began as one man's frustration became one of South Africa's most-loved footwear brands — with customers across 15 countries.
Today StepZone employs 60 artisans across three workshops in Johannesburg. Every pair still carries the spirit of that first stitch: bold, honest, built to last.
